Joy Community Development  Corporation is a nonprofit organization located in the City of Rocky Mount, serving Nash, Edgecombe, and other surrounding counties. 
 
We are the bridge in the community. We connect people in need with the people who want to help. JCDC focuses on providing real time services in real time. Crisis financial assistance for housing and utilities, transportation for work, community outings and church, along with providing referrals to other community resources.

JCDC provides opportunities to stimulate economic growth and social progress for the community. 

JCDC partners with government agencies and local community organizations that are committed to the social and economic growth of the citizens of Rocky Mount and surrounding areas. JCDC provides adult lifelong learning and parent training opportunities to help improve the ties between home, school, and parents work life balances.
